Here is the six keys of communication from Mark Batterson. Mark is the Lead Pastor at the National Community Church in D.C, as well as one of my new favorite authors. His book “In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day” is a great new book that you have go buy. Lifeway is releasing a small group bible study based on the book called, ”Chase the Lion. It is going to be good!

Building a Study Plan for Small Groups
I love football. If you didn’t know that, now you do. I love when my team wins and when they lose I stew inside until their next win. I guess that is the competitor in me. When a win occurs it is usually due to one factor, execution. The coaches lay out their gameplan during practice throughout the week and then they put it into action on gameday.
Just like a football coach, we as small group leaders require a gameplan. We must come up with a study plan and execute it. Rick Howerton has written an article on this very topic and you can read it here.
